Although I do not come from a traditional tech background, I am always learning new concepts to better myself. I am optimistic about pursuing a new career after earning a professional UX Design certificate through Google.

I have a creative, self-starter mentality, with a background in fashion. I received a Bachelors of Science in Merchandising and Product Development with a Minor in Marketing from Missouri State University. After college, I received help from my parents, who are entrepreneurs and big inspirations to me, and opened a Women’s apparel and accessory boutique.

While I am glad I was able to chase my dreams at a young age, it did not turn out to be a feasible career. I ran my own business in the downtown area of my hometown for 3 years, and learned more than I could ever imagine from the experience. Now, I am looking forward to what the future holds with my new career in UX Design.
